THE RECAP BIBLE STUDY EVERY WEDNESDAY AT 6:30PM

WE LOVE OUR CITY
City of God just doesn’t meet in the city — we are here to love, serve, and engage the city of Providence in tangible ways.
Jesus calls us to be salt and light, and we believe one of the greatest ways to reflect His love is through intentional outreach and community engagement.
Here’s what we envision to serve our city with outreach events.

CREATIVE CITY ENGAGEMENT
Art, music, and cultural events that celebrate the beauty and diversity of our city while pointing people to Jesus.

BACK-TO-SCHOOL BLESSINGS
Providing school supplies, backpacks, and encouragement to local students and families.

WINTER
WARM-UP
Distributing coats, hats, gloves, and warm essentials to those in need.

Spreading Christmas cheer through toy drives, community dinners, and seasonal events.
HOLIDAY OUTREACH

We collaborate with other churches, nonprofits, and city leaders to make a greater impact together.
LOCAL
PARTNERSHIPS

City Streets is the frontline outreach ministry of City of God, committed to bringing the hope of Jesus Christ to the heart of the city—one soul, one street, one story at a time.
CITY
STREETS
Why do we do this?
Because WE LOVE OUR CITY — and we believe God loves it even more. Our prayer is to see lives transformed, hope restored, and Jesus glorified in every corner of Providence.
“We are called to be the salt of the earth, and the light of the world.
A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.”
—Matthew 5:13-16
50|20 PROJECT
From Lock Up to Leadership - Redeeming the Next Generation
The 50|20 Project is a faith-based nonprofit (501c3) juvenile lock-up and re-entry ministry founded by Pastor Daniel Bourget, birthed from a vision God gave him while he was incarcerated. Inspired by Genesis 50:20 — “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives” — this ministry exists to bring the hope of the Gospel to incarcerated youth and walk with them as they re-enter society with purpose and vision.
Currently serving juvenile detention centers across Rhode Island and Massachusetts, The 50|20 Project engages young offenders through biblical education, life coaching, creative workshops, and Christ-centered mentorship. But the work doesn’t stop behind bars — we continue supporting these young men and women after release with reentry services that include transitional coaching, personal development, community connections, and spiritual guidance.
The 50|20 Project is committed to breaking cycles of incarceration and empowering the next generation to rise above their past. Through the power of Jesus Christ, we believe that every story can be rewritten — and what the enemy meant for evil, God will use for good.
This is more than a ministry — it’s a divine mission of restoration, identity, and purpose for young people who were once locked up but are now being raised up for Kingdom impact.
